The person I respect the most is the famous basketball player Yao Ming, who I believe possesses all the important attributes of a respectable person.

First, I respect him for his devotion to the sport of basketball. As one of China's most recognizable athletes, he has demonstrated his passion for sports in his CBA and NBA career, inspiring a large number of sports fans. No wonder he was elected into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
