第一节 英语 ——我的狗

My　Dog

If　you　really　want　me　to　talk　about　this,　the　first　thing　you　may　want　to　know　is　that　he　is　my　dog,　a　really　really　silly　dog.　He　grabs　

my　pillow　every　night!　Once　I　kicked　him　under　my　bed,　and　he　jumped　on　my　bed　and　bit　me　again.　I　had　to　fight　with　him　on　my　bed.I　can't　believe　that　I　fought　with　a　dog,　and　I　lost.　I　thought　that　makes　no　sense,　so　I　pushed　him　out　of　my　door　and　locked　it.　It　is　my　room，isn't　it?　But　anyway,　he　is　my　dog,　so　I　have　to　take　care　of　him.　I　promise　I　have　never　had　a　dog　like　him.　He　sees　anywhere　as　his　bathroom.That's　a　terrible　habit.　When　I　was　in　China,　I　never　let　him　wear　a　dog　chain,　and　he　never　barked　at　anyone.　He　did　something　that　I　never　thought　he　would　do.　When　I　was　walking　with　him,　I　didn't　have　the　chain.　He　followed　me　all　the　time.　One　time,　though,　suddenly　he　ran　away,　and　stopped　at　the　middle　of　the　street.　That　was　10：00　pm,　so　there　were　no　cars　in　the　street.　Why　did　he　stop　in　the　middle　of　the　street?　After　a　few　seconds,　I　knew　the　answer.　He　smelt　around　and　squatted　right　in　the　middle　of　the　street.　He　thought　that　was　his　bathroom!

I　can't　believe　that　happened　to　my　dog!　He　left　a　piece　of　shit　right　in　the　middle　of　the　street.　I　bet　he　is　the　bravest　dog　in　this　world.　I　don't　know　how　I　can　describe　him.　He　was　crazy,　even　more　crazier　than　my　aunt.　When　I　was　thinking　about　how　I　could　take　my　dog's　feces,　a　car　came...I　can't　say　how　the　feces　smelt.　Anyway,　that　means　I　have　to　chain　my　dog　next　time.

Another　thing　about　my　dog　is　that,　he　has　never　beaten　any　cat.　That's　all　I　worry　about.　I　mean,　if　he　really　wants　to　fight　with　a　cat,　the　result　is　that　he　is　beaten　by　a　little　cat,　Ha!　I　was　trying　to　teach　him　how　to　fight　but　he　never　listens　to　me.　That's　his　problem,　so　I　decided　to　let　him　choose　his　life.

If　you　want　to　know　why　there　is　a　scar　on　my　forehead,　I　will　tell　you　the　truth.　My　dog　did　that　great　job.　Most　people　think　he　scratched　me　or　something.　When　I　was　11　years　old,　I　played　with　him　at　home.　He　fought　with　me　just　because　I　robbed　his　toy　bug.　He　almost　got　mad!　So　he　pushed　me　on　the　ground　and　bit　into　his　toy.　He　was　trying　to　get　his　toy　back,　and　he　did　it.　He　ran　away　as　quickly　as　he　could.　But　I　didn't　give　up.　I　called　that　bullshit.　I　was　crazy　sometimes，you　know.　So　I　chased　him.　When　he　turned　into　my　room,　there　was　something　on　the　ground　that　tripped　me.　My　mom　said　she　heard　something　make　a　big　noise,　like　rat-tat.　Then　she　went　out　of　her　room　and　saw　me　lying　on　the　floor.　Then　I　went　to　hospital　and　stitched　my　wound.I　collided　with　the　door.　The　doctor　said　if　that　door　was　made　of　iron,　I　wouldn't　be　standing　here.

But　I　forgave　my　dog,　because　it　wasn't　his　fault.　It　was　the　door's　fault.I　was　so　mad　that　I　kept　punching　my　door　everyday.　Anyway,　back　to　my　dog.　Both　of　us　like　eating.　We　are　unstoppable　when　we　are　having　lunch　and　dinner.　I　tried　my　dog's　food　once.　I　figured　out　that　dog　food　smells　so　good,　but　when　you　really　eat　it,　it　tastes　like　my　aunt's　dish.　The　funny　thing　is,　my　dog　always　puts　his　leg　on　my　leg　when　he　is　watching　me　eat.　I　think　he　is　poor,　so　I　let　him　smell　the　food,　then　I　continue　eating　it.　That's　fair　enough.

To　tell　you　the　truth,　I　spent　one　night　finishing　this　story　about　my　dog.

我叫薛楸禹,是一名来自安徽合肥的美国留学生。现居学校为处在康涅狄格州New Haven的Hamden Hall Country Day School。我呢，虽然成绩不是太好，但是能说一口流利的英语。个人比较喜欢和外国朋友交往。当然啦，我的中国好哥们儿也不少。

我的个子是1米72，15周岁，最爱的动物就是狼，其次是各种各样的神话动物。我喜欢狼的程度达到了希望快快长大，然后在后背纹一匹狼的图案。平时喜欢看日本动漫和玩游戏，当然，一天最开心的时候就是打棒球的时候。

我两年前初到美国时就被美国人最喜欢的体育项目之一棒球吸引住了。没有玩过棒球的同学们不知道，当对方将球击打到外野的时候，我的心情简直不敢想象！当棒球稳稳地落到我的手套里时，球与手套撞击一刹那的声音和震感能赶跑一天不顺心的压力！秋天的时候，在学校提供的所有运动里，我最喜欢的当然还是足球！只可惜棒球才是我的真爱！

我在中国的同学都认为美国学习很轻松，不需要费什么脑子，其实，也没有他们想得这么简单。我们虽然学习的内容很简单，但是工作量比较大。中国学校注重作业和考试，我们却有Essay, Project, Presentation, Term Paper, Quiz, Test, Exam, Pop Quiz, Slide Show, Lab Report, Creative Writing等，都是一些比较麻烦的东西。学英语真的不轻松啊，托福 、SAT什么的，都是每一个留学生的仇人啊……

我的狗

如果你真的想听我说说我的狗，那我首先得告诉你，它是一只很傻的狗。每天晚上它都霸占我的枕头，如果我因此把它踢下去，它就会再跳上来咬我一口。我不得不在床上和它展开战斗，我简直不敢相信，自己竟然和一只狗打架，而且我还输了。但我觉得这样的争斗毫无意义，这是我的房间！于是我把它轰出去，然后锁上门。但不论如何，我是它的主人，我有义务照顾它。我发誓从来没有见过这样的狗，它有一个很可怕的习惯，就是不分时间地点地任意大小便。在中国的时候，我一直没给它栓链子，它也从来不向陌生人乱叫。它的行为超出了我的预料，当它跟我出去时，虽然没有链子，但它也会紧紧地跟着我。但是有一次，走着走着它突然跑开，在马路中间停了下来，幸好当时是晚上10点多，路上车很少。它为什么要待在那儿？几秒钟后我知道了答案，原来它把那儿当厕所了。

我简直不敢相信这是我的狗干出来的事！他在马路中间拉了一泡屎，我打赌它是世界上最勇敢的狗，我简直不知道应该如何形容它，它甚至比我那个疯狂的阿姨还要更疯狂。当我正在琢磨要怎么把这坨粪便弄走时，一辆车飞快地开了过去，此时这坨粪便已是面目全非。我想，下次一定要拴好狗链再带它出来。

另一件让我很担心的事是我的狗从来没和猫打过架，我的意思是说，如果有一天它真的和猫打架了，估计也是它输。我曾试图教它如何与一只猫打架，但是它不听我的，算了，就让它自生自灭吧。

我的额头上有一道疤，这还是拜我的狗所赐。别人都以为是被它抓伤的，其实事情是这样的：在我11岁那年，有一天我和它在家里玩儿，因为我拿了它的玩具，它几乎要疯了。它把我扑倒在地，然后去夺它的玩具，在它把玩具重新占为己有之后，就一溜烟地跑没影儿了。你知道，我有时会有点儿疯狂，所以我没有放弃，我边喊边追它，当我跟着它跑进我的房间后，我被地上的东西绊倒了，我的妈妈听到“砰”一声巨响后奔向了我的房间，看见我躺在地板上，她赶紧带我去医院处理伤口。医生说如果我撞上的那扇门是铁做的，就不会如此幸运地站在这儿和他说话了。

我原谅了我的狗，因为这也不是它的错，而是那扇该死的门的错。再来说说我的狗吧，我们俩都喜欢吃，一顿都不能落下。有一次我尝了它的狗粮，闻起来很香，但当我真的吃下去，那味道简直太恐怖了。可笑的是，每当我吃饭时，我的狗就会把两只前爪搭在我的腿上，看着我吃，我觉得它很可怜，于是我就让它闻了闻，然后继续吃我的。我觉得我对它已经很不错了。

说实话，我花了一整晚的时间来写这个关于我的狗的故事。
