Section 2　Common Pathogenic Features of Warm Pathogens

1.The warm pathogens possess warm-heat nature, and give rise to different degree of fever and other heat symptoms and signs.

2.The warm pathogens mainly intrude into the human body from the mouth, nose and body surface, or by touching.

3.Invasion of the warm pathogens is closely related with seasons, thus also called seasonal pathogens.

4.A warm pathogen can be transformed into another one under a certain precondition, e.g.,dampness transformed due to heat steaming, and pathogenic heat producing an internal dryness since undue consumption of body fluid.

5.Different warm pathogens are tend to invade the different locatins of the human body, e.g.,wind-heat pathogen easily attacks the exterior and superior body, summer-heat invades Yangming or Qi phase first, and damp-heat likely stays in the middle Jiao.
