1 中山路历史风貌区 Zhongshan Road Historic Area

中山路历史风貌区位于青岛老城西南沿海，青岛湾畔，始建于1897年德占时期，属于当时“欧华分区”的欧人商业区，1906年后，欧华分区取消，逐步成为青岛的城市中心。在其后的日占时期、国民政府统治时期、建国后，直至上世纪90年代，中山路一直是青岛的商业、文化中心。风貌区内共有各类历史建筑107处，本书选取26处历史建筑。

Built in 1897 in the early stage of German occupation, the Zhongshan Road Historic Area is along the old town's west coast by the Qingdao Bay. It was a business district for Europeans, and was made the central area of the city. In the subsequent eras of Japanese occupation, the Nationalist government rule and the first four decades of the People's Republic, Zhongshan Road was the center for commerce, finance, culture and entertainment of Qingdao until the municipal government moved eastward in the 1990s. Many time-honored Iandmarks, notably the Trestle Bridge with the Huilan Pavilion and the St. Michaels Cathedral, are Iocated in this area. There are a total of 107 historic buildings in various styles in this area, and 26 of them are featured in this book.
