4 观海山历史风貌区 Guanhaishan historic district

观海山历史风貌区位于青岛湾畔，始建于1897年德占青岛初期，是当时的行政、商业中心，也是青岛“山海城”一体的城市特色风貌的集中体现区。风貌区内共有各类历史建筑166处，本书选取32处建筑。

Taking shape in 1897 in the early stage of German occupation, the Guanhaishan Historic Area is sited along the Qingdao Bay, and was the administrative and business center of that era. As a highlight of Qingdao's distinctive cityscape, it includes mountains and the sea. There are 166 historic buildings in this area, and 32 of them are selected into this book.
