Foreword

This Code was developed by CISDI Engineering Co.，Ltd.together with the organizations concerned under the organization of China Metallurgical Construction Association（CMCA）in accordance with the requirements of"Notice on Printing and Distributing the Development and Revision Plan of Engineering Construction Standards and Codes in 2006（Batch 2）"（JIAN BIAO［2008］No.105）issued by the former Ministry of Construction（MOC）.

The Code is prepared based on the extensive investigation findings and experience acquired from practices，with reference made to relevant international standards and leading overseas experience.The present version is finalized and approved after consulting the relevant parties.

This Code comprises 12 Chapters，respectively covering:General Provisions，Terms and Symbols，Basic Requirements，Selection and Storage of Incoming Materials，Production Process of Steel Pipe Coating Line，Equipment Selection for Steel Pipe Coating Line，Operation Scheme，Working Time and Duty Ratio of the Line，Calculation of Production Capacity for the Line，Plant Layout，Other Facilities，Main Technical &Economical Indicators of the Plant，Environmental Protection，Labor Safety and Industrial Hygiene.

The provisions printed in bold type are mandatory and must be enforced strictly.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the administration of this Code and the interpretation of the mandatory provisions，and CISDI Engineering Co.，Ltd.is responsible for the interpretation of specific technical contents.The opinions and suggestions，whenever necessary，can be posted or conveyed to CISDI Engineering Co.，Ltd.（address:No.1，Shuanggang Road，Yuzhong District，Chongqing 400013，China）for reference in future revision.
