3.3　Switchgear

3.3.1　The switchgears of a substation shall be designed according to the current national standard GB 50060"Code for Design of High Voltage Electrical Installation（3kV-110kV）".

3.3.2　In the design of switchgears，equipment shall be selected and layout scheme shall be formulated based on load characteristics，environmental conditions and operation and maintenance requirements of the substation so that they are resource conserving，environmentally friendly and economical in land use.

3.3.3　The switchgears shall be designed based on the project characteristics，scale，and development plan，taking into consideration both long-term and short-term plan while highlighting the latter.
