3.5　Natural Construction Material

3.5.1　For natural building materials，an initial investigation or detailed investigation shall be carried out as required at different design stages.

3.5.2　If natural aggregate is insufficient or its excavation is not cost-effective，the sources of artificial aggregate shall be investigated and their reserves，quality，conditions for excavation and transportation shall be assessed.
