5.6　Installation of Expansion Joint of Gas Duct

5.6.1　During transportation，loading and unloading of gas duct expansion joint，pay attention to the protection，prohibit bumping，scratches and damages，distortion shall not be caused to the expansion joint through appearance checking，and the specification and parameters shall meet the design documentation requirements.

5.6.2　The installation of expansion joint shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　Before installation，check the air flow direction of expansion joint and the dust flow direction inside the duct；

2　Before installation，the prestretching capacity of expansion joint shall be checked and meet the design documentation requirement；

3　The separation distance between the up and bottom flanges of expansion joint shall meet the design documentation requirement，it is prohibited to adopt the method of regulating the separation distance between expansion joint flanges to compensate installation deviation；

4　After the installation of expansion joint is completed，clean the debris inside the corrugated node；

5　After the whole system installation is completed，remove the adjusting bolt and nut.
