dig up有挖起，掘出，發現，開墾的意思，dirt是污物，塵土，爛泥的意思。從土裏把自己挖出來，也就是來自底層但經過自己的努力爬到更高的社會地位的意思。

Honor這個詞有表示尊敬、敬重的意思，作為名詞它本身就指對法官的尊稱，譯為閣下、大人。前面加上Your是一種表示尊重的習慣用法，類似的還有Your Majesty陛下；Your Highness殿下；Your Excellency閣下（多用於稱呼大使）； Your Holiness教皇陛下。注意，一般your後面的詞開頭字母要大寫。

在這個短語中要注意some time是分開寫的，表示一段時間，如果連在一起sometime，則表示將來的某個時候，一般用在將來時態中。
