Choosing a different first page

In the previous section, our page footer numbering included the first page, which is the cover page. Since we do not want a number on this page, we need to do some tweaking to remove the numbering from the first page only:

1. Double-click on the footer area in the document to open it.
2. Go to the Header & Footer Options group.
3. Select Different First Page.
4. With that, the problem has been fixed! Our cover page is now excluded from the header and footer entries.
