Synchronous replication

Synchronous replication means that data is replicated immediately after it is written. This is useful for minimizing RPO, as there is no wait or drift between the data from one node to another. A GlusterFS-replicated volume provides this kind of replication. Bandwidth should also be considered, as changes need to be committed immediately.
