Advantages of decision trees

The following are the advantages listed:

  • Simple to understand and visualize
  • Very easy to build and can handle both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Easy to validate
  • Computationally, it is not very expensive
To summarize the decision tree model, we can conclude that it is basically a  flowchart of questions leading to a prediction.
