How to do it...
The following procedure will guide you through the steps involved in copying settings between Host Profiles:
- Log in to the vSphere Web Client and use the key combination Ctrl + Alt + 1 to navigate to the inventory home.
- At the inventory home, click on Host Profiles to view to all the profiles already created.
- Right-click on the Host Profile you would like to copy settings from and click on Copy Settings to Host Profiles...:

- On the Copy Setting to Host Profiles wizard's Select settings screen, choose the configuration to be copied. In this example, I am choosing to export an Advanced configuration option. Make the selection and click Next to continue:

- On the Select target host profiles screen, choose the Host Profiles to copy the settings to and click Next to continue:

- On the Ready to complete screen, review the settings and click Finish to start copying the settings:

- You should see a Copy settings to host profiles task complete successfully in the Recent Tasks pane:
