Frontend profile

This feature is not required in all web applications. However, it's the most important feature in applications such as forums, social networks, freelancing sites, and job management. The WordPress backend profile is very basic and not user-friendly. Also, it requires your users to navigate away from the frontend of the website to view the profile. In these types of applications, it's a must to have a fully featured frontend profile with user-friendly design to match your application design.

We use the backend profile mainly to manage users' personal data. Web applications extend user profiles by including additional features inside the profiles, such as orders, purchases, projects, albums, activities, posts, and form submissions. Generally, these types of data are managed in separate tabs inside the profile. Social networks such as Facebook are a great example for identifying the need of an advanced profile with various tabs. We can use third-party plugins or create our own frontend profiles to suit the custom requirements of our web applications.
