Abstract：At present，of any country China has the largest number of industrial parks in the world.Industrial parks contribute to high growth of regions and national economic development in China.However，economic gains often come with environmental pollution and Greenhouse Gas（GHG）emissions，these problems have arisen due to the rapid growth of industrial parks in China.As China’s economy steps into the new normal age and Chinese society steps into the new era，the greening of industrial parks is an urgent priority.Therefore，Ministry of Industry and Information Technology（MIIT）has been promoting the green and low-carbon development of industrial parks.In 2016，with the launch of the industrial green manufacturing system led by MIIT，the national green industrial parks program began.

Being a form of sustainable development，green industrial parks incorporate the idea of green development into the overall process of industrial parks development；including development planning，spatial distribution，industrial development，energy utilization，resource utilization，infrastructure construction，ecological enviromental protection，operation and management.It not only supports resource conservation，low carbon production and ecological environmental protection，greening industrial parks presents a systemic opportunity to foster harmony in the relationship between mankind and nature.Compared with the ecological industrial parks，recyclable industrial parks and low-carbon industrial parks，green industrial parks have greater potential and richer characteristics.

Over the two years of the development of national green industrial parks，46 industrial parks have qualified.According to their practice，there are signs that several green parks have decoupled the connection between economic growth，resource consumption and environmental pollution.

This report centers on the theme of the development of national green industrial parks.Recording the analysis of the policy and practice of national green industrial parks，the report demonstrates the history and accomplishments of national green industrial parks from all perspectives.The first chapter analyzes the background of the inauguration of national green industrial parks.The second chapter demonstrates the development process of national green industrial parks.The third chapter introduces the evaluation system of national green industrial parks.The forth chapter summarizes the accomplishments of national green industrial parks.The fifth chapter substantiates several cases of national green industrial parks.By displaying the accomplishments and practice of the transformation and advancement of national green industrial parks in China，this report serves to provide references for further promotion of the unprecedented programme.
