从案例可以看出,开发信篇幅一般不宜过长,内容开头应主动解释通过何种方式获取的客户信息,接着应重点介绍写信的目的和公司的相关信息,最后一般会以期待客户回信之类的语句结尾,最后还应将个人及公司的联系方式附在正文结尾后面,以便客户联系,所留联系方式应尽量全面。

一封全面规范的开发邮件仅仅只是基本要求,在实际运用过程中,外贸人员还需要掌握一些技巧,让开发信更有吸引力和可读性。

◆ 慎用链接:若在开发信中添加相关链接,则系统很有可能会认为其存在潜在威胁,从而导致邮件发送不出去,若必须添加链接,则可以将其中的http部分去掉,这样邮件可以顺利发送,客户也能打开链接。

◆ 一对一单独发送:群发邮件对陌生或不熟悉的客户来说是一种很不礼貌的行为,也很容易引起反感。相反,一对一发送是对客户的尊重,也更容易赢得好感。

◆ 语言精简,排版规整:邮件的格式会给客户留下最直接的感受,排版凌乱的邮件客户不会想继续阅读,语言啰嗦的内容也会让客户觉得枯燥乏味、浪费时间。写作过程中应尽量精简规范,将所述事项说清楚即可,不必过分重复或扩展。
